Hallo leute!
I found a 100% working solution for that problem its not hard to fix it you just need 2 capacitors and 1 diode (you can probably find those on an old device) the idea to fix that is to prevent the DVD device from shuting off while you turn the ignition to start the engine its super easy to do but might be a little complicated to understand first :( the video shows just 1 capasitor, i used 2 to be sure, 2x capasitors each 1000 uF 16v 1 Random diode will do the job! first things first, watch that video to understand what you have to do exactly with the capacitors and the diode and than come back here to continue and apply what you have learned but with my directions
People we do THE EXACT SAME thing as the video you saw! the only difference is that i use 2 capasitors and the other difference is that the cable on the video is red or explained red and has the name ACC or Accesory-Ignition and instead of red like the video shows the cable that we need has Yellow-Red and silver stripes!
If its clear to you now proceed and remove the device that reads the DVD for the maps THAT DEVICE http://ift.tt/2yEwY2o:
Than on the back side of MY DVD device were 3 connectors (yours might be a little different i have the 2003 Accord CL9 european model) 1 connector has just 1 cable the other one has like 6 cables and the 3rd has like 15, i didnt counted them but it will be clear to you which connector i mean, on the connector with the 6 cables or so there will be a yellow-red and silver stripes cable... thats the one that we need! that is the Accesory-Ignition cable that we have to put the diode and the capasitors on it! you will have to cut that yellow-red-silver striped cable and put the diode on it first, you have to put the NON striped side of the diode on the cutted cable that comes from the car side (that is important to be like that!) than on the video that you saw that guy explains it with only 1 capasitor but i did it with 2 to be sure to save more power...how to do that? you just connect the plus poles of the capasitors together and the minus together like ''bridge'' them. now you have to connect the STRIPED side of the diode to the plus of the capasitors(you can add an extra cable here to connect them obviously it will be much easier) and connect also the yellow-red-silver striped cable that you cutted on the first step to the plus of the capasitors, the minus of the capasitors obviously have to go on ground of the car MAKE SURE THAT THE METAL THAT YOU WILL CONNECT THE GROUND OF THE CAPASITORS ACTUALLY IS GROUND AND IS CONNECTED TO THE CAR!!! ^^ reassemble and have fun!
